Report: Paris Saint-Germain eyeing elite goalkeeper

Manchester United's David de Gea is reportedly among a list of goalkeepers that Paris Saint-Germain will target during the summer.

David de Gea has reportedly been added to a shortlist of goalkeepers that Paris Saint-Germain will attempt to sign in the summer.

Kevin Trapp is the current number one keeper at the Parc des Princes, but it has been suggested that head coach Laurent Blanc and other senior club officials are keen to secure the services of a more elite shot-stopper.

According to French publication Buzz Sport, one of their main targets is Manchester United's De Gea.

The 25-year-old was close to joining Real Madrid last year, but the switch fell through over paperwork issues.

He has since signed a new contract at Old Trafford, yet there is a belief that the Spaniard may seek a move if United fail to qualify for next season's Champions League.

The report adds that Chelsea's Thibaut Courtois, Tottenham Hotspur's Hugo Lloris and Bayern Munich's Manuel Neuer are also under consideration by the French champions.
