Laurent Blanc hails Paris Saint-Germain performance

Laurent Blanc expresses his satisfaction with Paris Saint-Germain's 4-0 crushing of Lorient.

Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc has spoken glowingly of his team following last night's 4-0 win over Lorient.

Goals from Lucas Moura, Jeremy Menez and two from Edinson Cavani helped the reigning champions open up a three-point gap over second-placed Monaco, while also extending their unbeaten run in Ligue 1 to 23 games.

"There are several reasons to be satisfied this evening - the scoreline, first of all, which is the most important," the 47-year-old told the club's official website.

"Then there's the way we played, where there were plenty of good things both collectively and individually.

"Even though we were leading, we continued to attack and we were rewarded because scoring four goals in a game is very good."

Les Parisiens take on Anderlecht in the Champions League on Wednesday.
