Unai Emery: 'Jese Rodriguez must keep working hard'

Paris Saint-Germain boss Unai Emery tells Jese Rodriguez to 'work hard' in a bid to win a regular spot with the French club.

Paris Saint-Germain boss Unai Emery has revealed that he talks "a lot" with Jese Rodriguez and has told the Spaniard to raise his level in order to secure regular first-team action.

Jese left Real Madrid for PSG in the summer as he sought regular football, but the forward has only started one Ligue 1 match for the French champions this season.

It has been claimed that the 23-year-old is already considering his future despite penning a five-year deal upon his arrival, but Emery is confident that Jese will come good for the club.

"I talk a lot with him. He has to work to show the potential that we know he has," Emery told Marca.

The former Spain Under-21 international scored 18 times in 96 Real Madrid appearances, including six in 38 matches last season.
