Laurent Blanc: 'Angel di Maria will improve'

Laurent Blanc claims that Paris Saint-Germain summer signing Angel di Maria has even more to offer, despite scoring the winner against Rennes on Friday.

Laurent Blanc has warned Paris Saint-Germain's rivals that Angel di Maria is only going to improve after his goal against Rennes.

The Argentine's strike proved decisive as the champions narrowly beat Stade 1-0, but Blanc is convinced that his winger has more to offer.

"I think Angel gives a coach a lot of opportunities, or possibilities. On the flank, through the middle, he can play everywhere. We have to put his individual qualities at the service of the team, and not the other way round," Blanc is quoted by Ligue 1.com as saying.

"So, we have to try and put him in the best conditions in relation to his qualities, as we try to do with all the players. It's not easy, it takes time, but we'll get there."

PSG are now 10 points clear of newly-promoted Angers in second.
