Rangers boss Mark Warburton moving on from Scott Allan transfer saga

Rangers boss Mark Warburton insists that he has moved on from the transfer saga involving Hibernian midfielder Scott Allan.

Rangers boss Mark Warburton has insisted that he has moved on from the Scott Allan transfer saga by claiming that he only wants players who are interested in playing for the club.

The Hibernian midfielder is expected to join Celtic, despite the Gers making three separate bids for the 23-year-old over the summer.

With a move for Allan now seemingly over, Warburton is only focusing on signing players who want to be at Ibrox Stadium.

"We only want players here who want to play for Rangers," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "I wish any player well, but right now my only focus is making sure we secure those players with that mind-set, who want to be here."

Rangers continue their Scottish Championship campaign on Sunday when they travel to Alloa Athletic.
