Adrien Rabiot happy to make amends for Paris Saint-Germain in cup win

Adrien Rabiot was relieved to make up for his mistake and help Paris Saint-Germain into the semi-finals of the Coupe de la Ligue.

Adrien Rabiot was left relieved after he made up for an early error to help Paris Saint-Germain advance in the Coupe de la Ligue at the expense of Bordeaux.

The midfielder's mistake allowed Bordeaux to score an equaliser early in the second half, but Rabiot then restored PSG's lead on the way to a 3-1 win at the Stade Chaban-Delmas that puts them in the semi-finals.

"We knew that Bordeaux would tire in the second half," Rabiot told the club's official website. "At the end, the cracked physically and that was the difference.

"I was at fault for Bordeaux's goal. It was there in my head even though I kept playing my game. I wanted to make up for it and Javier Pastore laid on a chance to score and I am very happy to have scored."

PSG host Nantes on Sunday in Ligue 1.
