Diego Lugano says that he will leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

Uruguay captain Diego Lugano has revealed that he is seeking a move away from Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

The 32-year-old centre-back was loaned out to Malaga last season after falling down the pecking order due to big-name arrivals such as Thiago Silva.

"I will return to PSG and do the pre-season with the intention of leaving," he told Urugol. "I haven't decided where yet. I will return to France, but I will be trying to leave.

"I say try because I am a PSG player and they won't let me leave if they think I can be of use there. The idea is that they will give me the freedom to find another team."

Lugano, who has 85 caps for his country, arrived in the French capital from Fenerbahce in 2011.
