Sparta vs. Groningen (Saturday, 3.30pm)

Mid-table Sparta Rotterdam face a difficult challenge on Saturday as they host fifth-placed Groningen in the Eredivisie.

Groningen have enjoyed a surprisingly strong campaign so far and come into this fixture in good form.

We say: Sparta Rotterdam 1-2 Groningen

This should be a close contest as both sides are in good form, but Groningen have been far more consistent this season and could edge the game in Rotterdam.

VVV-Venlo vs. FC Twente (Saturday, 5.45pm)

Relegation-threatened VVV-Venlo face sixth-placed FC Twente in what is likely to prove a difficult challenge for the hosts.

Twente have stumbled a little of late, but VVV are in dire form and the visitors will expect to return to winning ways on Saturday.

We say: VVV-Venlo 1-3 FC Twente

Twente may have suffered a slight dip in form recently but VVV are in free-fall and should offer little resistance against a far superior outfit.

RKC Waalwijk vs. PSV (Saturday, 7.00pm)

RKC Waalwijk will host high-flying PSV Eindhoven on Saturday night, with the hosts eager to bounce back from their 2-0 loss against Groningen last week.

Meanwhile, the visitors will be hoping to maintain their superb form in Eredivisie as they continue to chase Ajax at the top of the table - currently sitting just three points behind the reigning champions.

We say: RKC Waalwijk 0-2 PSV Eindhoven

Despite their injuries, we predict PSV to gain a comfortable victory away in Waalwijk on Saturday, with Schmidt's men desperate to continue their impressive form. The hosts, meanwhile, have struggled to find the back of the net this season, and we do not see them getting many past PSV at the weekend.

Utrecht vs. Sittard (Saturday, 8.00pm)

FC Utrecht are set to welcome Fortuna Sittard on Saturday, as the hosts hope to come back from a narrow 2-1 defeat against PSV Eindhoven last weekend.

Sittard, meanwhile, will be pleased with their 2-1 win over Heracles last Friday, with their latest victory managing to take them out of the relegation zone.

We say: FC Utrecht 1-1 Fortuna Sittard

Although Utrecht have the better head to head record, Sittard have been in good form over the past couple of weeks, and will be hoping to secure their third consecutive win this Saturday. However, there are currently just three points separating the sides in the table, and Utrecht will be confident of picking up at least a point.
