Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes tells his senior players that he will not discuss new contracts until the end of the season.

Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes has revealed that he will not be holding contract talks with any of his players until the end of the season.

The likes of Akos Buszaky, Clint Hill, Radek Cerny and Paddy Kenny are all out of contract at Loftus Road in the summer.

However, Hughes does not believe that the club are currently in a position to discuss fresh terms.

"With the more senior players I'm not yet in a position to have those types of conversations with them," Hughes told West London Sport.

"It's something we'll look to address at the end of the season. Until then we need to focus on our target, which has to be to get the points we need in order to stay in the Premier League.

"There are a number of players with situations to be resolved but they understand that at this moment in time our focus is on the games coming up."

QPR are currently 17th in the Premier League table with seven matches remaining.
