New Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes has held a "very brief" meeting with his playing squad ahead of his first training session in charge tomorrow morning.
Welshman Hughes was appointed to the R's hotseat earlier today, replacing Neil Warnock who was sacked on Sunday evening.
Striker Tommy Smith has revealed that Hughes has already discussed his plans for the future with the players.
"[The meeting] was very brief," Smith told Sky Sports News. "We were in this afternoon for a bit of training before he arrived.
"Then he sat us down and had a quick chat about himself and talked about how we are going to move forward."
Hughes's first game in charge will be against Newcastle United this weekend.
