Queens Park Rangers midfielder Park Ji-Sung has "made his mind up" to retire from professional football, according to the player's father Sung-Jong.
The former South Korea captain has had an inconsistent career at Loftus Road following his move to West London from Manchester United last year.
"My son has had difficult times at QPR this season. It was a new experience to him," Sung-Jong told Sports Chosun. "He's never had times like this with PSV Eindhoven or Manchester United.
"Nobody knows the future. Maybe he could play one more year with a new team after next season. But I think [Ji-Sung] has made his mind up to retire."
Park's contract with QPR expires in 2014.
