Harry Redknapp to escape punishment for blasting FA?

Harry Redknapp will reportedly avoid any action from the Football Association, despite criticising the governing body in his autobiography.

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp will reportedly not face any action from the Football Association for his criticism of the governing body in his new autobiography.

The 66-year-old has questioned in Always Managing: My Autobiography whether the FA are capable of appointing the right man for England after he was overlooked for the position last year.

Redknapp, who was the manager of Tottenham Hotspur at the time, was the widespread favourite to replace Fabio Capello, but instead the FA went for Roy Hodgson.

Despite his comments about the governing body, Redknapp will not be given a disrepute charge, according to the Daily Star.

Redknapp has also revealed in his book that he would have wanted Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers as his number two if he had been offered the England job.
