Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has described Sunday's 1-1 draw with Wigan Athletic in the Premier League as being "so cruel" on his side.
Despite having Bobby Zamora sent off, QPR looked on course for the three points at Loftus Road when Loic Remy opened the scoring in the 85th minute.
However, Shaun Maloney netted an equaliser deep into injury time to salvage a point for Wigan.
"I need lifting, that is how I feel," Redknapp told Sky Sports News. "That was the cruelest last kick of the ball I have been involved in in football.
"If we won today, it would have given us a lift to go on a run and stay up. Today was an excellent performance from the players, to play as we did with 10 men. I felt we deserved three points and it was so cruel."
The draw has left QPR seven points adrift of safety with seven games to play.
