Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has reportedly made Celtic striker Gary Hooper his number one transfer target this summer as he bids for an instant return to the Premier League.
Hooper has been consistently linked with a move back to England in recent seasons, with a trio of bids from Norwich City failing to meet Celtic's valuation in January.
Despite QPR dropping to the Championship next season, Redknapp believes that he can persuade Hooper to spearhead his attack at Loftus Road, according to The Mirror.
With competition high for Hooper's signature, Redknapp is prepared to splash the cash and is thought to be hopeful of reinvesting funds generated by a mass exodus in West London.
Hooper's future remains open for speculation, with the forward still waiting on an improved contract offer from Bhoys.
