Harry Redknapp: 'We haven't got the quality'

Harry Redknapp says that Queens Park Rangers' current squad would struggle in the Championship, after his side were beaten by Newcastle United.

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has claimed that his side do not have the quality to compete in the Championship.

QPR, who are already relegated, lost 2-1 to Newcastle United this afternoon and Redknapp admits that they are not good enough.

The R's boss revealed that getting rid of some players will be hard during the summer.

"I've been watching a few Championship games in the last few weeks," Redknapp said afterwards. "And I don't think that team we've got here would finish in the top half.

"We have to do something about it if we can. I haven't got a clue who I'm going to get next year, and who's going to go.

"It's very difficult to shift players who you want to shift, you will always shift one or two that other teams want, that's easy. Shifting the ones you want to get rid of is always difficult."

QPR's last game of the season is away at Liverpool next Sunday.
