Queens Park Rangers have reportedly made a second attempt to sign Southampton striker Pablo Osvaldo on loan.
The 29-year-old has spent the first half of the season on loan to Inter Milan in his native Italy, where he has scored six goals in 17 appearances.
He was sent out on loan to Juventus last January following an altercation with Saints captain Jose Fonte on the training ground.
QPR reportedly launched a bid to sign the Italy international last month.
Osvaldo's loan agreement with Inter is set to run for the entire season. However, Inter director Piero Ausilio is keen to cut the player's move short and has travelled to London for talks with Rangers, according to ITV Sport.
Osvaldo joined Southampton from Roma in 2013.
