Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has confirmed that a loan deal has been agreed for Nottingham Forest defender Joe Worrall.
The 21-year-old Worrall has featured 56 times for the Reds but is no longer in regular first-team contention, having fallen down the pecking order at the City Ground.
Gerrard confirmed the imminent signing after his side got the better of FC Ufa in their Europa League playoff, which finished 1-1 on the night for a 2-1 aggregate win.
"In terms of Joe, it's good news," the former Liverpool captain told reporters at full time. "As we were playing he should have signed a deal to be a Rangers player for a year."
An official announcement of Worrall's move to Ibrox is expected to be made on Friday, with the Light Blues' next game away at Celtic on Sunday.
