Rangers have reportedly agreed a fee with Hearts for forward Kyle Lafferty.
The Glasgow giants have been strongly linked with a move for the Northern Ireland international throughout August, with Hearts maintaining that their star man would not be able to leave unless the 30-year-old's asking price was met.
However, according to Sky Sports News, Rangers have made the breakthrough in negotiations and Lafferty will now undergo a medical at Ibrox.
The striker has already enjoyed a spell at Rangers, with 38 goals being scored from 137 appearances in all competitions between 2008 and 2012.
Rangers are allegedly trying to complete a deal in time for Lafferty to feature against FC Ufa in the Europa League on Thursday night.
