Brighton & Hove Albion defender Connor Goldson has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Rangers.
Despite not officially starting work until June 1, new boss Steven Gerrard is already looking for signings ahead of next season and Burnley midfielder Scott Arfield has been brought in on a free transfer.
According to The Argus, the Scottish giants are keen on securing the signature of Goldson, who has struggled for regular action at the Amex Stadium.
However, the report claims that the offer was rejected by the Premier League side, with the bid said to considerably below the valuation of the 25-year-old.
Goldson made seven starts and one substitute outing during the current campaign, with just 199 minutes of football coming in England's top flight.
