Reading goalkeeper Mikkel Andersen has revealed that he expects to remain on loan at Portsmouth.
The 23-year-old joined the League One club on a short-term deal in August and has started all six of their matches thus far this season.
"I am counting on the deal being extended. I am very, very happy here. Even though Portsmouth are playing in League One it is still a huge club. There is a healthy mentality here and the fans are amazing," he told bold.dk.
"No matter where we play the fans will always be behind us. The home ground is almost always packed and sometimes when we play away from home the support is so great that it feels like a home game.
"Portsmouth worked hard to get me and Reading were willing to help me. So I am certain that I will get to stay here and hopefully I will continue to play regularly."
Andersen registered three appearances for Denmark Under-21s.
