Zinedine Zidane's coaching ban suspended until appeal heard

Zinedine Zidane is reportedly free to coach Real Madrid Castillas until an appeal against his three-match ban is heard.

A Spanish court has suspended Zinedine Zidane's coaching ban from the Real Madrid reserves until his appeal his been heard.

The former France international was handed a three-month suspension after a complaint was issued claiming that he did not have the right qualifications to coach Real Madrid Castilla.

After the sanction was made, the Spanish club said that they will "pursue every legal avenue" to have the ban overturned.

According to BBC Sport, it has been confirmed in Spain that Zidane will be able to continue his role in charge of Madrid's 'B team' until his appeal is heard.

The 42-year-old is believed to have a Level 2 licence, which is the qualification ranked lower than the required licence.
