Report: Atletico Madrid hopeful on Diego Costa, Arda Turan fitness

Atletico Madrid are reportedly still hopeful of having Diego Costa and Arda Turan fit for the Champions League final on Saturday.

Atletico Madrid are reportedly still hopeful of having Diego Costa and Arda Turan fit for the Champions League final on Saturday.

The newly-crowned La Liga champions meet fierce local rivals Real Madrid in Lisbon this weekend with the pair struggling for fitness.

Costa is nursing a hamstring injury, while Turkey international Turan is suffering with a knee problem. Both were picked up in their title-clinching draw with Barcelona last week.

According to FootballEspana.net, Costa has been in Serbia to have his problem looked at by controversial 'placenta doctor' Mariana Kovacevic, while Turan has flown his own trusted physician Burak Kunduracioglu to the Spanish capital from his homeland.

Los Rojiblancos boss Diego Simeone is hoping that both will available to him when they meet Los Blancos in Estadio da Luz following their respective treatments.
