Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed his pride after becoming the Champions League's all-time leading goalscorer.
The Portugal international moved three goals ahead of Barcelona's Lionel Messi after bagging a hat-trick during his side's 4-0 win over Shakhtar Donetsk.
Although Ronaldo admitted that he was delighted with his feat, he went on to say that his ultimate goal is to help his team win trophies.
"I knew this [record] would come, naturally and without pressure," he told BT Sport.
"It's good of course, I won't lie, I feel so proud and happy but this is not my goal – my goal is to be good all season and help the team win, which is the most important, and to win collective trophies.
"I hope my goals help the team win but I feel confidence, I feel good and I want to carry on like that."
Karim Benzema also found the net for Real during their dismantling of Shakhtar.
