Isco handed two-match ban following El Clasico red

Real Madrid midfielder Isco is awarded a two-match ban following his red card in Saturday's El Clasico, where he kicked out at Barcelona's Neymar in the latter stages.

Real Madrid midfielder Isco has been handed a two-match ban following his red card in Saturday's Clasico against Barcelona.

The Spaniard was a second-half substitute in his team's 4-0 defeat, but did not complete the match after seeing red late on for kicking out at Neymar when the ball had gone.

As a result of the suspension, the 23-year-old will miss Real Madrid's next two league games against Eibar and Getafe respectively.

Isco, who is said to be unsettled at the Bernabeu, is currently with the Real Madrid squad in Ukraine ahead of their penultimate Group A Champions League match against Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday evening.
