Gerard Pique criticises Cristiano Ronaldo

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique criticises Cristiano Ronaldo for the Real Madrid forward's claims that the referee influenced El Clasico at the weekend.

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has criticised Cristiano Ronaldo after the Real Madrid forward claimed that the referee influenced El Clasico on Sunday evening.

Spanish official Alberto Undiano awarded Barcelona two penalties in their 4-3 win at the Bernabeu, which led Ronaldo to criticise the referee's involvement.

However, Pique has claimed that "it is unfair" to speak about the referee in Madrid.

"It's a real shame that Ronaldo is complaining about the referee again after such a great game," Pique told reporters.

"If we go and discuss each individual decision, Ronaldo's penalty was outside the area... It is unfair to talk about the referee. He did not have any influence on the final result."

Just one point separates the top three in La Liga.
