Real Madrid trio Marcelo, Luka Modric and Isco are seemingly close to making a return from injury.

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has received a triple boost with three players closing in on a return from injury.

Amid speculation regarding his future, Zidane watched his side move into second position in La Liga on Sunday night with a narrow 1-0 success at Sevilla.

Los Blancos achieved the win without each of Marcelo, Luka Modric and Isco, who have been suffering from neck, hamstring and thigh injuries respectively.

However, the trio all featured in training on Monday morning, with Isco seemingly nearest a return to action having worked with the rest of the squad.

Marcelo and Modric did a session away from the main group, potentially indicating that they are still at least one game away from being selected by Zidane.

Real are next in action when they take on Osasuna on Wednesday evening.
