Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Junior could reportedly be out for the next month with the thigh problem that he suffered during Brazil's clash with Colombia on Thursday night.
The 23-year-old had to be substituted in the 27th minute of his side's 2-1 loss to Colombia in the 2026 World Cup qualification fixture.
Vinicius will now undergo a medical examination to determine the severity of the problem, but according to journalist Melchor Ruiz, the initial indications are that he could be missing for the next month.
Speaking to 3 na Area after the clash with Colombia, the forward said: "Same injury as last time, I had a bump and felt it a little later. Tomorrow I'm going to do tests and see how it goes. I think it's difficult (playing against Argentina) from what the doctors said. We're going to try everything."
Ruiz has said that 'all of the signs' are pointing towards him being missing for the next month, which could mean that he is not seen in a Real Madrid shirt again until 2024.

The attacker has scored six goals and registered four assists in 13 appearances for Carlo Ancelotti's side during the 2023-24 campaign, but he missed four games earlier this season with a hamstring issue.
Despite Vinicius's comments surrounding a potential return against Argentina next week, it is believed to be highly unlikely that he will be cleared to feature.
Brazil will be looking to avoid a third straight loss in their World Cup qualification campaign when they take on Argentina in a huge contest on November 21.
Real Madrid are due to back in action against Cadiz on November 26, before finishing the month with a clash against Napoli in the Champions League.

Los Blancos will then take on Granada, Real Betis, Union Berlin, Villarreal and Alaves ahead of the winter break, with their first match of 2024 coming against Mallorca on January 2.
Real Madrid have already lost Eduardo Camavinga for the remainder of the year during this international break, with the France international suffering a knee injury earlier this week.
Vinicius's likely absence could press Joselu into action as a starter once again, while Luka Modric may be given a run of starts in the coming weeks due to the absences of both Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni.
Arda Guler, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Dani Ceballos, Eder Militao, Thibaut Courtois and Jude Bellingham are also currently on the sidelines for Real Madrid during a difficult period in terms of absentees.
Ancelotti's side are already through to the knockout stage of the Champions League, while they sit second in the La Liga table, two points behind leaders Girona.
