Real Madrid have come from behind to record a 4-1 victory over Real Valladolid in Sunday's La Liga fixture.

Ruben Alcaraz missed an early penalty for the home side, but Anuar Tuhami put Valladolid into a deserved lead shortly before the half-hour mark.

However, Raphael Varane quickly equalised for Real, and two goals from Karim Benzema put Real in control before Luka Modric sealed the three points with a late fourth.

Find out how all of the action unfolded at Estadio Jose Zorrilla courtesy of Sports Mole's minute-by-minute updates below.

Hello and welcome to Sports Mole's live coverage of the match in La Liga between Real Valladolid and Real Madrid. Santiago Solari is allegedly one game away from being sacked by Madrid, and the interim boss will be aware that his side must win against their struggling hosts. The two teams are making their way out onto the pitch, so let's see who features in each starting lineup...

REAL VALLADOLID XI: Masip; Antonito, Fernandez, Calero, Nacho; Tuhami, Michel, Alcaraz; Keko, Guardiola, Plano

REAL MADRID XI: Courtois; Odriozola, Bacho, Varane, Reguilon; Modric, Casemiro, Kroos, Ceballos; Asensio, Benzema

KICKOFF:  Valladolid get us underway!

CHANCE!  It has been a fast start from the home side, with Calero sending a header off target after getting on the end of a Michel free kick.

Madrid respond with a break down the right which brings about a corner, but the home side are able to clear from the set piece.

This game is being played at a lively pace. Madrid are pressing the Valladolid defence where possible, and it forcing the home side to go the direct route.

Valladolid's Nacho does superb down the left to put the home side on a break forward, and it takes Odriozola to make the interception to prevent a one-on-one chance.

CHANCE!  A threat is being offered at both ends of the pitch. An outswinging corner finds Casemiro who mistimes a header towards goal, and Asensio cannot get enough on his effort at the back post to cause Masip too much concern.

PENALTY!  Valladolid have a penalty! A long ball over the top sets Guardiola free, and Odriozola can only pull the forward down to the ground!

Wow. Alcaraz produces one of the worst penalties that you will ever see, with the ball being sent YARDS over the crossbar!

DISALLOWED GOAL!  More drama! Valladolid think they have taken the lead with Guardiola converting at the back post, but Keko is adjudged by VAR to be in an offside position when sending a low cross into the box.

Madrid are all over the place at the back, but there is no doubting that they will feel relieved to still be on level terms. Those near misses may play into their favour.

DISALLOWED GOAL!  This is unbelievable. Guardiola nets again with a header from an inswinging cross, but the forward is ruled offside again! It is a matter of inches, but it is the correct decision.

The Madrid hierarchy are not going to be impressed with this opening quarter from Solari's men. Jose Mourinho may be taking an interest...

SHOT!  The visitors have improved over the past couple of minutes, and Benzema goes close with a powerful effort from the edge of the area. However, Masip is able to watch the ball go marginally over the bar.

Valladolid respond with a lengthy period on the ball. The home side remain keen to keep Madrid on the back foot.

Both of Madrid's full-backs are getting through a lot of work on both flanks. Solari's narrow tactics aren't helping his side when Valladolid launch counter-attacks.

GOAL!  Real Valladolid 1-0 Real Madrid (Anuar Tuhami)

GOAL!  FINALLY! Valladolid take the lead and it's an outstanding goal. An excellent cross from the right is volleyed into the path of Tuhami by Guardiola, and the Moroccan has the simple task of converting from close range.

What has happened to this Madrid side? They are being outfought and outclassed by a team who are only four points above the bottom club in the division.

You fancy Valladolid to create an opening each time they plough forward. When they do, it is at pace and Madrid simply aren't dealing with it.

GOAL!  Real Valladolid 1-1 Real Madrid (Raphael Varane)

GOAL!  Out of nowhere, Madrid are back on level terms! The goal comes from a corner and after Masip fails to punch the ball clear in a challenge with Nacho, the ball falls to Varane to tap home.

That goal has gone a long way to silencing the home support. Valladolid are back in the ascendancy, but they will be hugely frustrated to be on level terms.

Madrid are at least doing a lot more to discourage Valladolid from surging forward at every opportunity. The visitors have just had the ball in the middle third of the pitch, and they are being met with nine outfield players behind the ball.

Modric is beginning to get on the ball a lot more often, and a mazy run from the Croatian needs to be ended by a Valladolid defender on the edge of the area.

You can tell that Valladolid are already looking to the half-time whistle. They have taken a couple of steps back and are prepared to try to stifle Madrid.

CHANCE!  Valladolid then counter with intent and they catch Madrid out. Keko's clever pass over the top of the backline picks out Tuhami, but the midfielder's weak volley is straight at Courtois.

SHOT!  The home side give the ball away in their defensive third and it gives Casemiro the chance to shoot from distance. However, Masip does well to palm the ball away to his right.

There will be three minutes of added-on time.

YELLOW CARD!  Reguilon goes into the book for a late challenge on the touchline.

HALF TIME:  Real Valladolid 1-1 Real Madrid

The half-time whistle goes and Valladolid and Madrid are locked at 1-1. Two goals. Two disallowed goals. One missed penalty. It was an eventful 45 minutes!

Here's the benches on offer to each side...

REAL VALLADOLID: Delgado, Unal, Verde, Rodriguez, Hervias, Moyano Lujano, Cop

REAL MADRID: Navas, Vallejo, Marcelo, Valverde, Diaz, Gonzalez, Seaone

KICKOFF:  Madrid get us back underway.

Valladolid come agonisingly close to retaking the lead. Antonito burst into the area and his dinked cross looked on its way into the net, but the ball evaded a teammate and went past the far post.

CHANCE!  A long ball over the top sets Tuhami through on goal, but the Valladolid midfielder's first touch is heavy and he then pokes the ball wide of the target.

PENALTY!  Madrid have a penalty! A long ball towards the right flank is met by Odriozola, and Plano can only upend the right-back in the box.

GOAL!  Real Valladolid 1-2 Real Madrid (Karim Benzema)

GOAL!  The comeback is complete. Benzema steps up and fires the ball to Masip's left, with the goalkeeper diving the opposite way.

It's going to be interesting to see how Valladolid respond to going behind. They don't deserve to be, but Madrid have taken advantage of the home side's lack of a clinical touch at the other end.

Odriozola has his limitations as a defender, but he is lightning going forward. The full-back has just run half the length of the pitch to win a corner for his side.

CHANCE!  It should be 3-1. A cross from the right picks out the run of Ceballos, who sends a volley straight at Masip from 12 yards out. The midfielder thought that he was offside, but the assistant kept his flag down.

GOAL!  Real Valladolid 1-3 Real Madrid (Karim Benzema)

GOAL!  Game over? Kroos's inswinging corner from the left finds Benzema, who sends a bullet free header into the bottom corner of the net.

YELLOW CARD!  Valladolid are getting frustrated. Nacho goes into the book for a wild challenge on Odriozola.

SUBSTITUTION! Valladolid make their first change with Verde replacing Tuhami.

I'd be surprised if Madrid don't score more goals before the full-time whistle. The visitors have reacted really well after a near-disastrous opening 30 minutes.

Valladolid win a free kick around 30 yards from goal, but Verde's effort goes straight into the wall.

YELLOW CARD!  Casemiro goes into the book for a cynical block on Plano in the middle of the pitch.

We enter the final 20 minutes with Madrid probing away as they search for a fourth. Valladolid are struggling to remain in this contest.

SUBSTITUTION! Valladolid make a second change with Cop replacing Keko.

SUBSTITUTION! Madrid also make an alteration as Valverde is introduced for Kroos.

Valladolid have had a bit of a breather and they are now going back in search of a second goal.

OFF THE POST!  You have to feel sorry for Guardiola. The Spaniard has had two disallowed goals, and the forward has now hit the post with a volley from a corner.

That was probably the moment which needed to go Valladolid's way. They really haven't had any luck tonight.

RED CARD!  Maybe their luck has just changed? Casemiro is sent off after receiving a second yellow card, which was given to him for standing in front of a free kick. What was he thinking?!

Valladolid are taking the chance to throw more men forward. Madrid have little option but to retreat. Don't be surprised to see Solari make more changes very quickly.

Madrid regain more control of the game having come close to creating a chance through Odriozola. Solari won't mind. It's more seconds being wasted.

GOAL!  Real Valladolid 1-4 Real Madrid (Luka Modric)

GOAL!  It's definitely game over now. Modric gets past a defender inside the area before slotting the ball into the far corner of the net from 12 yards out.

SUBSTITUTION! Madrid make a second switch as Vallejo is introduced for Varane.

SUBSTITUTION! Solari follows that by introducing Marcelo for Reguilon.

There will be three minutes of added-on time.

FULL TIME:  Real Valladolid 1-4 Real Madrid

The full-time whistle goes in Spain and Real Madrid have ended their recent losing streak with a comeback 4-1 win. Real Valladolid will feel hard done by, but Madrid were clinical in the final third after a poor start to the contest.

That will be all from Sports Mole for this match. Thank you for joining us this evening and we hope to see you again soon.
