Gareth Bale hails Real Madrid's "amazing attacking threat"

Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale insists that he wants to continue winning trophies in a Los Blancos shirt alongside the "amazing" Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.

Gareth Bale is hopeful that he can keep on improving in a Real Madrid shirt in order to win more trophies at the club in the coming years.

The 25-year-old joined the Spanish giants for a world record transfer fee in the region of £85m in 2013, winning four titles during his spell at the Bernabeu so far.

Having played down rumours linking him with a move to Manchester United earlier this week, Bale is now keen to continue working on his relationship with fellow forwards Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema as the La Liga campaign swings back into action this weekend.

"It's an amazing lineup that we have," the Welshman told AS. "The three of us enjoy playing together up front. I think we work really well and we showed that by winning all the trophies.

"It's an amazing attacking threat that we have, and it's one we want to keep improving. I wanted to come to Real Madrid to win trophies and play with the best players, and that's what I've done in the first year.

"Hopefully I can keep improving and win a lot more trophies in the future, doing the best I can."

Bale has made 22 appearances for Madrid this season, scoring 11 goals in all competitions.
