Alfredo Di Stefano tips Cristiano Ronaldo for Ballon d'Or

Alfredo Di Stefano thinks that Cristiano Ronaldo should win this year's Ballon d'Or.

Real Madrid legend Alfredo Di Stefano has tipped Cristiano Ronaldo for the Ballon d'Or.

The forward has emerged as one of the favourites for the prestigious award following his displays for Los Blancos and Portugal this year, and the former Madrid great thinks that Ronaldo should be crowned the winner.

"There's no doubt Ronaldo should win the Ballon d'Or," Di Stefano told Marca.

"I'd say he was the complete player. You can see that opponents fear him. For me Cristiano is the best.

"Cristiano is a phenomenon. He is number one – a barbaric player."

Ronaldo has hit 32 goals in 22 appearances this season, but is currently suffering with a hamstring injury.
