Zinedine Zidane names son Enzo as new Real Madrid Castilla captain

Enzo Zidane, son of football legend Zinedine, is named as the new captain of Real Madrid Castilla by his father.

Zinedine Zidane has named his son Enzo as the new captain of Real Madrid reserve side Real Madrid Castilla.

The 20-year-old has only just been promoted to the Los Blancos second team this season after a number of impressive performances for Real Madrid C in the fourth level of Spanish football.

His father, manager of Castilla since June 2014, handed him the captain's armband on a number of occasions during pre-season and has now given him the role on a permanent basis.

Enzo has been a part of the Real Madrid academy since 2004, and is eligible to play for France, Spain or Algeria at international level.
