Real Madrid's Kaka has earned a recall to the Brazil national squad.
The midfielder has not featured for his country since the 2010 World Cup, but could line up against Iraq and Japan next month.
Kaka has yet to make a competitive appearance for his club this year, but bagged a hat-trick against in a recent friendly against Colombian outfit Millonarios.
The former World Player of the Year has yet to play for Brazil under current coach Mano Menezes, who made the step up to international management in 2010 after a stint with Corinthians.
"We need players as experienced as Kaka is with the national team," said Menezes. "We think that he will come here and show that he has improved.
"We know that this season will be key for him so we can start counting on him as a national team player again in the future."
Kaka's last call-up came in November 2011 for games against Gabon and Egypt, but he was forced to withdraw through injury.
