Toni Kroos has revealed that he is pleased with how his first season at Real Madrid went despite failing to pick up any silverware.
The Germany midfielder swapped Bayern Munich for the Blancos last summer before playing 36 of their 38 Liga outings.
The Madrid giants finished the 2014-15 campaign without any trophies, but the 25-year-old is hopeful that he can help change that next time around.
"My decision was to go abroad, especially after winning the World Cup, and to go to Madrid was perfect. I was 100 per cent convinced of it," he told AS.
"I'm happy. The first year in Madrid was very good. I'm established in the team and I hope to win titles in the coming years."
Rafael Benitez will look to lead Real to glory next season following the dismissal of Carlo Ancelotti earlier this summer.
