Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has insisted that it will be "later rather than sooner" when he decides to become a national team manager.
The 49-year-old has achieved success at each of the club teams that he has managed during a 12-year managerial career, but he has insisted that he still feels like he has a long way to go.
Mourinho told AS: "We'll see, although it will be later rather than sooner, much later.
"I am 49 and will be 50 when this season finishes, but I still think I'm at the beginning of my career.
"So I say that for now, and for a long time to come, I'm not going to train a national team. That is not for me yet."
The former Chelsea manager was most recently linked with replacing Fabio Capello as England manager, before Roy Hodgson was handed the job.
