Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas has admitted that Lionel Messi is a "great player" but he would turn down the chance to sign him from Barcelona.
The Argentina international has won five Ballon d'Or crowns and countless titles during his time at Camp Nou, writing his name in Barca folklore in the process.
Navas does not believe that Messi would dislodge the likes of Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema in the Spanish capital, however, and would therefore reject the chance to sign him if given the chance.
Speaking to Marca, he said: "He is a great player, but the teammates we have are incredible too. So no [I wouldn't sign him]."
Navas is looking likely to remain Madrid's first-choice keeper next term as president Florentino Perez recently cooled talk of a move for rumoured top target David de Gea.
