A host of top European clubs are in competition for the services of German international goalkeeper Tim Wiese.
The 30-year-old is out of contract at Werder Bremen at the end of the season, with Real Madrid, AC Milan, Inter Milan and Hoffenheim reportedly interested.
Hoffenheim boss Markus Babbel told Bild: "We are competing with Real and the Milan clubs. If Tim decides to join us, I'd be very proud.
"I want to sign him because I have a very high opinion of him and he would also provide us with more athleticism in goal."
With Bremen, Weise has won the German Cup, the League Cup, played in a UEFA Cup final and finished runner-up in the Bundesliga twice.
He has earned six caps for Germany.
