Preview: Getafe vs. Real Madrid

Sports Mole previews Real Madrid's trip to Getafe on Sunday.

Real Madrid will be aiming to extend their unbeaten run in La Liga to 14 matches when they travel to Getafe on Sunday.

Los Blancos currently sit joint-top of the standings with Barcelona and Atletico Madrid following last weekend's 4-2 success over Villarreal.

Getafe occupy 13th position but sit just four points ahead of the relegation zone. Their defeat at Osasuna last Saturday means that they have not won for eight matches.

Real secured their passage into the final of the Copa del Rey in midweek by beating city rivals Atletico in the second leg of their semi-final clash.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti will have to make at least one change to the side that beat Atletico, as Cristiano Ronaldo serves the second match of his domestic three-game ban.

Marcelo is expected to return to the starting XI after missing the cup win, while fellow defender Raphael Varane remains on the sidelines with a knee injury.

Getafe duo Alvaro Arroyo and Roberto Lago are all suspended, but Jamie Gavilan and Pedro Mosquera could be fit enough to start.
