The summer transfer window has now begun, with rumours and speculation continuing to swirl as Real Madrid eye possible reinforcements.
Florentino Perez oversaw a significant overhaul of his squad last summer before focusing more on youth in January. As is always the case with Madrid, though, some of the biggest names in football continue to be linked, even in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news of possible comings and goings at the Bernabeu.
Thursday morning's Real Madrid transfer talk news roundup:
Manchester United 'beat Real Madrid to signing of Atletico Madrid starlet'
Manchester United have reportedly completed a deal to sign highly-rated teenage striker Alejandro Garnacho from Atletico Madrid.
The 16-year-old came through the ranks with Atletico and had been playing with their Under-19s side last season.
Atletico's city rivals Real Madrid were also interested in his signature, while Borussia Dortmund were thought to be monitoring his progress too.
However, Marca reports that United have won the race for Garnacho, who is expected to arrive in England to officially complete the deal later this week.
The youngster, who will have to quarantine for 14 days following his arrival, is reportedly set to sign a five-year deal at Old Trafford.
Garnacho is the third Spanish teenager to join United this summer following the arrivals of 16-year-old Marc Jurado and 17-year-old Alvaro Fernandez from Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively.
Manchester United 'prioritise attacking signings over Sergio Reguilon'
Manchester United reportedly remain interested in signing Real Madrid left-back Sergio Reguilon, but boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is prioritising attacking reinforcements.
Recently-capped Spain international Reguilon is behind Ferland Mendy in the Madrid pecking order and has been linked with an exit, despite his impressive form on loan with Sevilla last time out.
However, ESPN claims that United are in no rush to finalise a transfer for the Madrid defender as Solskjaer first wants to try to bring in a new attacker.
Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho is said to be Solskjaer's primary target, although there is an acceptance that it will be difficult to agree a deal with the Bundesliga side.
United have made one signing so far this summer, bringing in Donny van de Beek from Ajax last week in a deal worth up to £40m.
