Paris Saint-Germain will reportedly offer Kylian Mbappe a fresh contract which would make him the highest earner in world football.
The youngster completed a move worth £167m to the Parc des Princes from AS Monaco in 2017, making him the second most expensive player of all time.
Now in his third season at PSG, reports have claimed that Mbappe will not sign a new contract in Paris and instead complete a move to Real Madrid.
However, according to a report in Spain, the Ligue 1 champions are willing to pay Mbappe a whopping £44m a year to commit his long-term future to PSG.
Lionel Messi, currently the world's highest earner, is said to receive an annual sum of £35m, while Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo both have contracts which see them earn £26.3m.
PSG's hierarchy are willing to pour heavy resources into keeping Mbappe after accepting that Neymar will leave the club next summer.
