Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has urged teammate Cristiano Ronaldo to clarify his future at the club, following a post-match interview from the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.
Following Madrid's Champions League triumph over Liverpool on Saturday night, Ronaldo stated that he has 'enjoyed' his time at Madrid and that he needs a few days to clear up his future.
The interview sparked debate over whether the Portuguese winger could move elsewhere this summer, but Ramos believes that he will stay in Madrid.
"I suppose he will have been speaking about a summary of the season," Ramos told reporters when asked about Ronaldo's comments.
"If there is something there, he must clarify it today.
"He is a key piece for us. He could not be in a better place."
Ronaldo joined the club in 2009 from Manchester United in a record-breaking £80m transfer.
