Real Zaragoza have sacked head coach Paco Herrera following Sunday's 4-2 defeat at Ponferradina.
The loss, which was their 11th of the season, left the former La Liga club in 13th position in the Segunda Division, just two points from the bottom four.
According to El Periodico de Aragon, B team manager Emilio Larraz will take charge until the end of the season, when a new long-term head coach will be appointed.
Herrera was appointed by Zaragoza in 2013 following their relegation from La Liga last season.
Zaragoza have not won in the league since beating Mirandes at the end of January.
