Half-Time Report: Wes Thomas fires Rotherham United ahead

Wes Thomas's goal separates Oldham Athletic and Stevenage at the break.

Rotherham United are on course to stretch their unbeaten run to six games, courtesy of Wes Thomas's first-half goal against Stevenage.

The visitors had the first real chance of the contest, as Lucas Akins played a pass into the box for Francois Zoko to head, but the striker failed to beat Adam Collin from six yards out.

Ben Pringle's cross for Alex Revell almost led to the breakthrough, only for Chris Day to flick the ball over the bar to keep the score level.

Moments later, the hosts took the lead through Thomas, who found the back of the net following two goal-line clearances.

Peter Hartley almost equalised instantly, but Collin saved his effort to protect the Millers' half-time lead.
