Vicente del Bosque: Raul could return for Spain

Vicente del Bosque refuses to rule out recalling Raul for Spain.

Vicente del Bosque has said that he will not rule out recalling Schalke striker and Real Madrid legend Raul to the Spain national team.

Raul, who left Los Blancos for the Gelsenkirchen club in 2010, has scored ten goals in 17 appearances in the German Bundesliga this season.

Meanwhile, with Barcelona forward David Villa sidelined for up to five months, he could be on the verge of returning to international football after five seasons in exile.

"I have a very good relationship with him," Del Bosque told Marca. "What he is doing is fantastic. No-one's cycle is closed.

"I am sure that there will be more [fitness] problems until Euro 2012 starts. It is always a risk."

Schalke are currently in third place in the German league, three points adrift of leaders Bayern Munich.
