Team News: Adam Szalai dropped again for Schalke 04

Kevin-Prince Boateng starts up front for Schalke 04, with Adam Szalai on the bench.

Schalke 04 coach Jens Keller has dropped Adam Szalai to the bench for his side's away clash against Borussia Monchengladbach in the Bundesliga.

Szalai had been recalled for last week's 3-0 win over Stuttgart, but Kevin-Prince Boateng is preferred in the false nine role for the tricky away tie.

The hosts are unchanged from their last Bundesliga game, which means that Max Kruse continues up front with Raffael in behind.

Gladbach: Ter Stegen; Korb, Jantschke, Stranzl, Wendt; Kramer, Xhaka; Herrmann, Arango, Raffael; Kruse

Schalke: Fahrmann; Uchida, Santana, Matip, Kolasinac; Howedes, Neustadter; Farfán, Meyer, Draxler; Boateng
