Saturday's Championship predictions including Hull vs. Sheffield United

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Saturday's Championship fixtures, including Hull vs. Sheffield United.

Two Championship clubs struggling at the wrong end of the table will lock horns on Saturday lunchtime when Hull City welcome Sheffield United to the KC Stadium.

The hosts have failed to secure all three points in any of their opening three home matches so far this season, while the visitors have failed to win or score in their first three away games.

We say: Hull City 1-2 Sheffield United

Both sides will be desperate to claim all three points on Saturday and will view this fixture as a great opportunity to return to winning ways.

Considering Sheffield United have looked vulnerable in defence, Hull may finally find the net this weekend, however we can see the visitors securing a slender victory at the KC Stadium.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Barnsley vs. Blackburn (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Blackburn Rovers make the trip to Oakwell to face Barnsley with the opportunity to move into the top six of the Championship table.

Despite only losing two of their opening seven fixtures, the Tykes head into Saturday's contest sitting just two points above the relegation zone.

We say: Barnsley 1-1 Blackburn Rovers

While Blackburn are the favourites to emerge victorious at the weekend, we cannot ignore the amount of draws that these two teams have recorded this season. With that in mind, we are predicting another stalemate on Saturday, potentially with one goal apiece.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Cardiff vs. Bournemouth (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Unbeaten Bournemouth travel to Cardiff City in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

After seven games, the Cherries are third in the table on 15 points, while the Bluebirds are ninth with 11 points.

We say: Cardiff City 0-2 Bournemouth

Bournemouth appear to be really finding their rhythm under Parker, with new signings and academy stars bedding in to the team and players returning from injury; Cardiff, though, looked lacklustre against Coventry in midweek and could struggle again here.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Derby vs. Stoke (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Following the news of their expected points deduction, Derby County will be looking to secure a much-needed victory at home against Stoke City in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

The Potters, meanwhile, have made their best start to a league campaign since 2004-05, accumulating 14 points from their first seven games.

We say: Derby County 0-1 Stoke City

Although Stoke have struggled at Pride Park in recent seasons, their current form is much better than Derby's heading into Saturday's game and that could help them in their quest of claiming all three points.

The hosts have kept a clean sheet in three of their last five league games, though we can see the Potters scoring this weekend and securing a narrow victory.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Fulham vs. Reading (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Championship leaders Fulham welcome Reading to Craven Cottage on Saturday afternoon.

The Cottagers have taken 16 points from their first seven games of the season, while the Royals have seven points and sit 18th.

We say: Fulham 3-1 Reading

Fulham showed how dangerous they can be on Wednesday night, and will be in a confident mood going up against the Championship's joint-worst defence. Reading will be boosted by their midweek win, but this is another challenge entirely and the Royals could be in for a tough afternoon.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Huddersfield vs. Nott'm Forest (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Nottingham Forest head into Saturday's Championship fixture with Huddersfield Town having opted to part ways with manager Chris Hughton.

While Forest sit at the bottom of the standings, Huddersfield are in sixth spot after winning four of their last five matches.

We say: Huddersfield Town 2-1 Nottingham Forest

Forest have not been heavily beaten in any of their league fixtures this season and we do not expect that to change here. Nevertheless, Huddersfield are playing with confidence in the final third, and that should prove to be the difference.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Luton vs. Swansea (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Luton Town welcome Swansea City to Kenilworth Road on Saturday afternoon, as the hosts look to claim their first Championship victory in over a month.

As for the visitors, they have claimed just one victory from their opening seven league games, failing to win each of their last three.

We say: Luton Town 1-1 Swansea City

A closely-fought contest between two evenly matches sides is set to be played out at Kenilworth Road this weekend. Although Luton and Swansea will both push to claim all three points, we think that a score draw could be on the cards.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Middlesbrough vs. Blackpool (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Middlesbrough play host to Blackpool on Saturday afternoon after ending a four-match winless streak in the Championship earlier this week.

While Boro have moved into ninth place in the standings, Blackpool remain in the relegation zone after suffering a fourth defeat in seven games.

We say: Middlesbrough 2-1 Blackpool

With a win over Fulham still fresh in the memory, it would be naive to completely rule out Blackpool winning this game. However, Boro should only get better with their new signings in the team, and we expect a hard-fought triumph for the home side.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Millwall vs. Coventry (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Millwall manager Gary Rowett pictured in February 2021© Reuters

Coventry City will look to continue their impressive start to the Championship season when they travel to Millwall on Saturday.

The Sky Blues, who finished 16th last season, are fourth in the table with 15 points from seven games, just one point off top spot.

We say: Millwall 1-1 Coventry City

Confidence is high in the Coventry camp at the moment and they will fancy their chances of victory against a middling Millwall side. The Lions are stubborn, though, and not easy to beat, and we think this one will end level.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Peterborough vs. Birmingham (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Birmingham City's Scott Hogan celebrates scoring their first goal against Derby County in the Championship on September 10, 2021© Reuters

Championship strugglers Peterborough United will be looking to end a run of four successive league defeats when they host Birmingham City on Saturday afternoon.

The two sides last faced each other in February 2013, with the Blues securing a 2-0 win in the second tier at London Road.

We say: Peterborough United 1-3 Birmingham City

Peterborough need to improve defensively if they are to have any chance of claiming all three points this weekend. However, they are set to face a strong Birmingham attack, who we feel will enjoy their Saturday afternoon in front of goal at London Road.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Preston vs. West Brom (Saturday, 3.00pm)

West Bromwich Albion will hope to continue their unbeaten start to the Championship season when they travel to Preston North End on Saturday.

The Baggies are second in the table on 15 points, while the Lilywhites have recovered from a worrying start and sit 14th on eight points.

We say: Preston North End 0-1 West Bromwich Albion

After two consecutive draws, a win does not feel too far away for this menacing West Brom side. Preston have looked much more confident in recent games, so this will not be an easy match for the promotion-chasing Baggies, but we do think the visitors will pick up the three points.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

QPR vs. Bristol City (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Queens Park Rangers QPR manager Mark Warburton pictured in February 2021© Reuters

Queens Park Rangers head into their Championship fixture with Bristol City looking to bounce back from suffering their first defeat of the season earlier this week.

While the Robins are currently occupying a spot in mid-table, the visitors have put together a three-match unbeaten streak.

We say: Queens Park Rangers 3-1 Bristol City

Bristol City will be relieved to be back playing away from Ashton Gate and will fancy their chances of causing an upset. However, QPR continue to look dangerous in attack, leading us to predict a convincing win for the Hoops.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
