Sheffield Wednesday boss Carlos Carvalhal: 'Draw with Brighton a fair result'

Sheffield Wednesday manager Carlos Carvalhal says that his side's 0-0 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion was the "correct result".

Sheffield Wednesday manager Carlos Carvalhal has declared that his side's goalless draw with Brighton & Hove Albion in the Championship was a fair result.

The stalemate marked an 11th game unbeaten for the Owls in all competitions, and the Portuguese was satisfied with his players' performance.

"I think the draw was a correct result, both teams are strong and very similar," he told reporters.

"Both teams have strong organisation and went for the win. I'm happy with my players and now we look forward to Saturday."

He added: "We want to win all the matches but we will face strong teams. It's important not to lose to keep adding points all the time."

The result leaves Wednesday in eighth place in the Championship.
