Sheffield Wednesday have signed Crystal Palace midfielder Barry Bannan for an undisclosed fee on a one-year deal.
The Scotland international, 25, joined the Eagles from Aston Villa in August 2013 and appeared 27 times for the London outfit.
Bannan joined Bolton Wanderers on loan in February 2015 as part of the deal that saw Lee Chung-yong make the switch to Palace, making 16 Championship appearances, and now returns to the league with the Owls.
"Glad to have joined Sheffield Wednesday on a permanent transfer today new start and glad to be going somewhere to play regular football and a fresh start," Bannan tweeted yesterday following the move.
Bannan may not the only player to leave Palace before the transfer window shuts, as the club have reportedly agreed a fee with Bournemouth for striker Glenn Murray.
