Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has admitted that he was left disappointed with his side's performance in the first half of their Capital One Cup victory over Millwall on Tuesday night.
Goals from Jack Cork and Graziano Pelle eventually secured the win for the Saints, but it wasn't enough to let Koeman forget about their poor start in South London.
"It was two different 45 minutes. After the first I was unhappy," the Dutchman told reporters. "Millwall were fantastic, but we were sloppy.
"But we did much better in the second half. We controlled it and finally scored the second one. The result is okay, but I won't forget the first 45 minutes."
Koeman return to action in the Premier League against West Ham United on Saturday afternoon.
