Ronald Koeman: 'Graziano Pelle can get back to his best'

Ronald Koeman heaps praise on Graziano Pelle after he scored his first goal in 15 games against Hull City.

Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has backed striker Graziano Pelle to rediscover his best form after he found the net against Hull City.

Pelle scored the second in The Saints' 2-0 win over The Tigers for his first goal in 15 games.

Koeman told BBC Sport: "He played well and worked very hard but he has to score goals. That's the best feeling a striker can get. He lives to score goals and if it's been a long time it does something for your confidence.

"Now he will be back to the player he was at the beginning of the season."

Pelle had failed to find the net in the Premier League since a 3-0 win over Everton in December.
