Southampton midfielder Adam Lallana reveals that he is excited about playing under new manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Southampton midfielder Adam Lallana has admitted that he is looking forward to playing under new manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Pochettino was appointed at the Premier League club last week following the sacking of Nigel Adkins.

Lallana, who is currently sidelined with a knee injury, is now excited about working under the Argentine's new regime.

"It's going to be different, but it's going to be good," the 24-year-old told the club's official website.

"I'm so eager to get back playing, especially under the new boss. There's a team of four who have come in, and the gaffer is starting to get his messages across."

Lallana is expected to make his return from injury next month.
